Marketing Coordinator – Venice Brands

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Job Description: We’re looking for a part-time marketing coordinator with the potential to grow into a full-time role. This job is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career who is interested in marketing and consumer goods to work across multiple brands and also have exposure to the investment side of the business. This person would be crucial in keeping projects moving and executing on marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Marketing to support marketing across portfolio brands
  • Place orders and coordinate with various vendors for branded materials
  • Dropbox file management (product images, logos, graphics, sales materials)
  • Sharing brand assets with vendors/partners
  • Help with PowerPoint presentations and edits
  • Create and manage surveys and sampling efforts to test out new products or evaluate new brands
  • Developing a survey panel for Venice Brands
  • Research (trend info, consumer info, competitors)
  • Managing the Venice Brands social media properties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, business or marketing focus preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience, marketing preferred
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite – Excel and PowerPoint skills must be strong
  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-moving company with minimal oversight
  • Interest in consumer goods
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms

Compensation: $20/hour

Time Commitment: 20-25 hours per week
